Scholarships are awarded solely to Caymanian students who meet the published minimum requirements, and have been accepted to colleges or universities that are approved by the Education Council.

Each applicant must submit an overseas scholarship application, along with original copies of the following:

Medical certificate (attached to the application form).
Official High School Transcript.
Letter of acceptance/conditional acceptance from College or University.
Official Financial statement from College regarding costs.
Proof of Cayman status -Birth Certificate for applicant and parents, status documents or adoption papers.
One passport size photo.
Parents Salary letter (verifying salary).
Parents Bank letter (verifying credit rating).
Completed application form.

Students are furthermore expected to sign a bond to return to work on Island once they have been awarded a scholarship.

The deadline for application is March 31.
